Italian MEP Mario Borghezio was reportedly given a bloody nose on Thursday as he attempted to sneak into the secretive Bilderberg conference in St. Moritz.

Borghezio, of right-wing Italian party Lega Nord, was reportedly with another Italian as he attempted to infiltrate the luxury Suvretta House hotel where the conference is taking place.

Borghezio was blocked by guards from the security firm Securitas, who then called in the Swiss police. After having their identities checked, the two Italians were told they could not enter the building.

But according to the Italian news agency ANSA, Borghezio's nose was bloodied during the altercation with the security guards. He told the agency he intends to press charges.

Swiss police spokesman Thomas Hobi said, "We don't comment on the work of private security firms," before adding that the police was not at liberty to even confirm the identities of the two men, because of data protection laws.

In a separate incident, two Swiss men were detained near the conference because "several suspicious items" were found in their car.

Hobi said that "for tactical reasons," the police did not want to give any more information on the objects, but it is understood they initially suspected explosives. A security cordon was set up around the car while forensic specialists investigated the objects.

The items in the car were eventually judged to be harmless, though both men have been turned over to state police.

The annual Bilderberg meeting, which gathers over 100 of the world's political and economic leaders, are usually secured by a tight police presence.

On what has been claimed as the official website – which is impossible to verify as it gives no contact information – the group is described as "a small, flexible, informal and off-the-record international forum in which different viewpoints can be expressed and mutual understanding enhanced."

The Bilderberg group is nothing more than a bunch of National Socialists that will never give up trying to control the world. They sincerely believe they are superior to everyone else.

There was great live coverage including live interviews on the event at infowars.com. Swiss Politician Lukas Reimann was interviewed about the attack on Mario Borghezio and discussed many other Bilderberger related issues. Lukas is inspiring and at 28 has more guts than 28 US congressmen combined. Attendees confirmed yesterday include Angela Merkel, Chancellor of Germany, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, the former PM of Spain, former Microsoft chairman Bill Gates and U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates. Thank you for reporting on this and having the guts and decency as a nation for honoring decency. GOOD JOB SWITZERLAND!

The Bilderbergers are the so-called Shadow Government. The are current and former government, banking, higher education, and business leaders. They are engaged in networking and influence peddling. They control the money and investing in the world. They are responsible for creating the "Euro" and are currently trying to influence the collapse all the major currencies and establish a One World currency. This years list of attendees is published on www.drudgereport.com and www.inforwars.com. You can find the participants and topics of discussion at www.bilderbergmeetings.com. From this you can glean how this self-appointed group wealthy elitists and globalists are attempting to establish a One World government.

@ John Eadie, In the USA it's a violation of the Logan Act (Hillary was fined $300,000 for attending last time). As one Bilderberger member said today they're busy “setting their agenda” Consider this speech by JFK: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xhZk8ronces The Swiss are known for not being in the EU and for rejecting the Euro. Today their politicians are "setting their agenda" with the following people in secret:_________________________ -Almunia, Joaquín, Vice President, European Commission------------------------------Daele, Frans van, Chief of Staff to the President of the European Council--------Kroes, Neelie, VP, European Commission; Commissioner for Digital Agenda---Lamy, Pascal, Director General, World Trade Organization-----------------------------Rompuy, Herman van, President, European Council---------------------------------------Sheeran, Josette, Executive Director, United Nations World Food Programme--Javier Solana Madariaga, President Center for Global Economy & Geopolitics -Trichet, Jean-Claude, President, European Central Bank--------------------------------Zoellick, Robert B., President, The World Bank Group-------------------------------------I highly suggest watching that short JFK speech at the link above. Good luck Switzerland.

If the Bilderbergers were a bunch of National Socialists like the first letter writer implied, we would not have the third world immigration problems that we have in the White countries today. The White world would be run for the benefit of the White race and third world peoples' would never be allowed to settle in it. China would not be in the enormously powerful country it is today and would not be in a position to dictate anything to the West. National Socialism in any form is anathema to the people who go to the Bilderberger meetings, because it takes power away from the business elites and gives it to the people.

Comment #7 is exactly on point. I've never understood the absurd nuttiness surrounding the Bilderberg group. It's participants are free to discuss anything they please, and in private if they so choose. Do these anti-Bilderberg conspiracy theorists accept the concepts of "freedom of speech", and "freedom of association", as set forth in the U.S. Constitution? Does Bilderberg have the power to impose its will on the citizenry by force of law, as governments do? I think not. The paranoid delusions of the conspiracy kooks pose a greater threat to humanity than the Bilberberg group ever could.

Mario Borghezio was not SNEAKING in. He's an elected official of a country and a EU Parliamentary Member. He HAS NO REASON to SNEAK in. Apprently, THIS news outlet is also corrupt and playing on words to make the Bilderberger criminals look victimized. NEWSFLASH FOR ALL CORRUPT NEWS OUTLETS: Your job is not to be the snot rag for these ultra rich crimnals. Your job is to report and expose!

Comment #10, John F. Kennedy answered your question regarding secrecy and the job of the press perfectly: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xhZk8ronces

@joshbot (#8): the Logan Act of 1799 has only been legally invoked once, in 1804, against a Kentucky farmer for writing an article in a paper deemed controversial. And nothing ever came of that - the case did not advance beyond a grand jury indictment. Today the Logan Act is widely considered unconstitutional and unenforceable, though interested parties ocacsionally use it to make noise. The myth of Clinton being fined under it has been circulating in conspiracy nut circles for some time, though the public has yet to see any documentation for that claim.

@filitsa (#11): Well, apparently he tried to circumvent security, and he was not invited. That fits "sneaking in" quite well. The fact that he is an elected official in some function in some place is entirely unrelated to that.
