Justin Bieber-mania is sweeping Zurich as the teen idol is slated to perform in the city Friday night.

Local reports are peppered with pictures of the 17-year-old artist and his enthusiastic fans, reporting that around 13,000 people are expected to attend the concert.

“Switzerland is looking forward to Bieber,” reads a first-page title on the popular daily 20 Minuten.

The paper’s online version also features a video report from four 15-year-old fans who proudly show their Bieber-plastered bedroom walls.

The Canadian singer, known for catchy tunes such as Never Say Never and Baby, as well as for his cute looks, has been something of a singing sensation since he was discovered in 2008.

His live performances regularly draw thousands of rowdy pre-teen and teenagers girls, colloquially known as the “Beliebers” (a play-on word with “Believers”).

The star is playing at the Hallenstadion as part of his world tour.
