Bus and car buried in Swiss landslide
One person was killed when a bus and a car were buried by a landslide in eastern Switzerland's Graubünden, at a location close to the Austrian and Italian border, police said on Friday.
The driver of the coach, who was the sole occupant, was killed in the accident which happened at around 1200 GMT while it was on the way to Livigno in Italy to pick up passengers.
But the female driver of the car behind the bus escaped unhurt, a local police spokesman told AFP.
A large team of emergency workers was deployed to the scene on the main road linking the towns of Martina and Vinadi, and the road remains blocked to traffic.
