Drunk driving mum had kids on board

A 31-year-old mother caused havoc on the roads of St. Gallen on Sunday whilst driving under the influence with two young children in the car.
According to canton St. Gallen police, the woman rammed into street signs, crash barriers and a wall causing thousands of francs worth of damage, the Swiss news agency SDA reported.
Her four-year-old son and five-year-old niece were in the car at the time
The driver had a blood alcohol level of 3.3 mg/ml – six times the legal limit.
The woman was driving from Au in the direction of St Margrethen on Sunday afternoon when she was stopped by police.
She was made to undergo a blood test and later had to give up her driver’s licence.
In Switzerland the blood alcohol limit was lowered to 0.5 mg/ml from 0.8 mg in 2005.
