Lovesick Swiss tourist hunts for mystery Swede
Summer romances are often hot yet burn out quickly. But one Swiss tourist is determined to be reunited with the Swedish flame she encountered on a recent trip to Stockholm.
Those long Nordic nights in July provide the perfect romantic setting for a summer fling as Stefanie Rothenbühler, 21, found out on a recent weekend trip to the Swedish capital.
After a long day of sightseeing, the Swiss tourist and her friend headed to Stockholm's trendy Södermalm area to stop off at a bar called 'Femtiofyra' last Friday. That's when she met Andreas.
“My friend and I were having a drink and after a while a group of Swedes sat down next to us and we started talking,” Rothenbühler told Swedish tabloid Aftonbladet on Thursday.

She says she and the blond 23-year-old Swede, who told her he worked as a painter and played the guitar in a small band, immediately hit it off.
“When I had to go, because my friend was tired and wanted to go home, he asked if he could kiss me. So we kissed,” she said.
But somehow Rothenbühler and Andreas never managed to exchange phone numbers and on Sunday she had to return back home to Switzerland.

Even though trying to locate a Scandinavian she can only really describe as being “blond and with blue eyes” may seem like searching for a needle in a haystack, Rothenbühler is nevertheless appealing for help to find her mystery Swede.
“It may seem strange that I'm trying to get hold of him, but he was so cute and we had a completely amazing evening together,” Rothenbühler told Aftonbladet.
The Local has sought to contact Rothenbühler and is keen to hear from any Swedes named Andreas who reckon they could be her Romeo.
