The New Year’s Eve party on the banks of Lake Zurich is the highlight of the city’s festivities. Around 100,000 visitors flock to the lakeside each year to count down to the New Year and experience the spectacular fireworks display. For the eleventh year running, the leading hotels in Lucerne are joining forces with the KKL Luzern and Lucerne Tourism to organize a huge firework display over the bay of Lake Lucerne starting at 8pm. The partner hotels will be serving special menus, and gala cruises are offered on the lake.
