Swiss to reward safe sex with muesli and monster truck rides
Health authorities in Switzerland have come up with a novel way to promote safe sex – by giving away prizes along with free condoms.
Over the next few months, around 400,000 free condoms will be available at swimming pools, clubs and festivals around Switzerland in a bid to promote safe sex.
And there's a twist: people picking up the condoms could also win one of 3,500 prizes including everything from lawnmowers to bicycles or food baskets.

To have a chance at winning, people need to visit Switzerland's Love Life website – a portal with information on safe sex – and enter the code on their packaging of their condom.
The "Join in and win" campaign is based on the idea that people who use condoms are winners.
Run by the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health together with the AIDS prevention federation Aids-Hilfe Schweiz and the non-profit organisation Sexual Health Switzerland, the campaign is a part of a 30-year project to tackle AIDS and other sexually-transmitted diseases in Switzerland.
The Love Life campaigns are known for their tongue-in-cheek approach to raising public awareness of sexual health issues as these videos show.
There are around 20,000 people with HIV in Switzerland according to the health department. A total of 542 cases were diagnosed in 2016.
In the same year, there were 733 syphilis cases reported, just over 11,000 cases of chlamydia and 2,270 cases of gonorrhoea.
