Switzerland updates quarantine list: Croatia added but Belgium removed

Four countries have been added to Switzerland’s mandatory quarantine list, while a further two have been removed.
The updates will take effect on Monday, September 6th.
From Monday, people arriving in Switzerland from Croatia, Lebanon, Ukraine and the United Arab Emirates will have to go into mandatory 10-day quarantine, according to an updated country list seen by the AFP news agency.
The list already includes Brazil, India, South Africa, the United States and Spain excluding the Canary Islands. Belgium and Mexico are being removed from the list as of Monday.
Prior to the change, there was a total of 53 countries on Switzerland’s mandatory quarantine list.
The countries on the list have been classified as ‘high-risk’ by the Swiss government for having more than 60 infections per 100,000 residents.
