In addition to Mexico and Egypt, Qatar and the Cape Verde Islands were also added.

The new additions were announced on April 22nd but did not take effect until May 3rd. Up until then, arrivals from these countries will not be forced to quarantine.

The Maldives, another popular holiday destination, was removed from the list on May 3rd.

Switzerland frequently adds and subtracts countries from the list on the basis of infection rates.
