Top 10: Snowden's 'comments about the Swiss'
Edward Snowden, the American fugitive accused by US authorities of violating espionage laws, has sought asylum in Switzerland, among other countries. He may pine for the Alpine country now, but when he was posted to Geneva as a CIA agent back in 2007 he reportedly trashed the Swiss on a chat site run by Arstechnica.com. Switzerland could hardly be blamed if it doesn’t welcome him with open arms. The Local takes a look at Snowden’s alleged comments.

ECA International, a global management consulting firm, last month ranked four Swiss cities — Zurich, Geneva, Basel and Bern — among the top ten most expensive cities in the world. Also in June, the website www.hotels.com found Geneva to be the most expensive city in the world to order a club sandwich in a hotel.
