Woman run over by train near Zurich

A 41-year-old woman was killed by a speeding train on Thursday afternoon as she tried to cross a double track railway, local reports said.


The woman, whose identity has not been disclosed, successfully crossed the first track but was hit on the second track by an S-bahn train coming from Zurich.

She died on the spot, police said. The accident occurred in Nänikon-Greifensee, in Canton Zurich.
