Agents discovered a cache of 352 items, believed to have been stolen, in five garbage bags, two plastic bags and a suitcase, the Federal customs administration said on Tuesday.

The items included clothes with labelling still attached, alcohol, cosmetics, various food products, shoes and small electric appliances worth a total of 16,000 francs ($17,800), Customs said.

The discovery was made on September 15th but the person shipping the contraband remains unknown, officials said.

Two other items believed to have been used to steal the items, a magnet and a hook, were also found with the allegedly stolen items, Customs said.

The various objects remain impounded in storage while an investigation into the case continues.
