Swiss flight aborted after ‘explosion’ in engine

A Swiss International Air Lines flight from Zurich to Vienna had to return to the Swiss city shortly after taking off when its pilots heard a worrying noise coming from the plane’s right engine.
The noise sounded like an explosion, reported news agencies.
The plane, carrying 167 passengers, turned around over Lake Constance and returned to Zurich airport.
The passengers were then able to board another plane to continue their journey to Vienna, said Swiss, confirming the situation to news agencies.
An investigation has been opened to determine the cause of the noise, according to the airline.
