Ah these US warnings are full of fake news. There is no place more dangerous than US cities where you can be gunned down anytime by a mass shooter. And of course you have the orange mad man than can deport you to an El Salvador prison for being black, brown, yellow, or a muslim.

A few years ago, some friends of ours were visiting the Chateau de Chillon. They were parked in broad daylight in a busy area, which was supposed to be supervised by the police. Their car was broken into and they lost all their belongings, including passports. Switzerland is a very safe country in comparison to other places, but you still need to keep an eye out on the street, in trains etc
